High School Projects

Project RAMMY

This was one of my earlier projects I made as a highschool freshman. I was tasked to make a unique obstacle avoiding robot, and RAMMY was the result. Instead of avoiding objects, Rammy detects them, backs up and then accelerates towards whatever he encounters, making him a danger to cardboard everywhere.

The PID Box

Also in freshman year, I built a PID control box to regulate a spinning wheel’s speed by continuously measuring error from a target value and dynamically correcting it in real time. The system used proportional, integral, and derivative control to stabilize motion, minimize overshoot, and maintain consistent performance.

The Sandwich Maker

In sophomore year I started to make an automatic sandwich maker, that would automatically assemble sandwiches. Unfortunately this project was never finished due to COVID-19.

PROJECT RANGER

For my Junior and Senior years, I worked with a partner to create project RANGER. This is a nerf gun, that, when aimed at an object would detect the distance of said object and then display the current and necessary angles.
